Rossi Zaccaria was an Italian artist, born in Rottanova (Cavarzere), near Venice, Italy in 1878 and died in 1968. He was trained in Milan and played viola in the Orchestra of La Scala, Milan under Arturo Toscanini. He later became Assistant Conductor and took over as Music Director at La Scala, serving 1909-1914, 1917-1918, and briefly after the Second World War, 1946-1947.
