Biography:

Utagawa Sadatora was a remarkable figure of Japanese Edo period (1603–1867). He was born in c. 1825 and was a pupil of Utagawa Toyoshige. He was active c. 1818-44 and also used the pseudonym Gofûtei (五風亭).
