Biography:

The San people, also known as 'Bushmen', are the indigenous hunter-gatherer cultures of southern Africa. They are one of the oldest surviving cultures of the region and have a rich history dating back thousands of years. The San people were skilled hunters and gatherers, using techniques such as stalking and poisoning to hunt their prey. They also had a deep understanding of the natural world and developed complex spiritual practices. Today, there are approximately 63,500 San people living in Botswana, making it the country with the highest proportion of San people at 2.8%. The San people have made significant contributions to the cultural heritage of southern Africa, including their traditional art, music, and storytelling.
