Sandra Leichner is a top internationally awarded and recognized Master Applique Artist. She is known for her masterpiece quilts that showcase her exceptional skills in applique and fabric manipulation. Leichner has received numerous awards for her work, including the Road to California 2015 Best of Show Quilt award. She is also the author of the book 'Hand Appliqué with Embroidery'. Leichner's quilts often feature intricate details and realistic representations of nature, showcasing her passion for the traditional framework of the American quilt. She has exhibited her work in several museums, including the National Quilt Museum in Paducah, Kentucky. Leichner is also a regular contributor to The Quilt Show and Quilters' Save Our Stories.
