Biography:

Sanjay Kak is an Indian author, activist and self-taught film-maker. He is known for his documentaries about environmental activism and resistance politics. He was born in Pune, India in 1958. He is a Kashmiri Pandit, a community that originated in the Kashmir Valley of Jammu and Kashmir, India. He is known for his documentary 'Red Ant Dream' which is based on the rebel Maoist movement in India. The documentary has been screened in various cities in India since 8 May 2013. He is also known for his book 'Witness to Paradise'.
