Biography:

Sergey Ryabchenko was a Ukrainian artist. He was associated with the styles of Realism and Socialist Realism. Background Ryabchenko was born in Aleksandriya, Ukraine, on June 1, 1923. Education Sergey Ryabchenko graduated from the Odessa Art School in 1941. He was a student of the Odessa Art Institute from 1946 to 1952. In 1952, he became a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. He was a professor at the Odessa Art Institute from 1962 to 1987. Ryabchenko was a participant in many art exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad. He was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR in 1973 and the title of People's Artist of the Ukrainian SSR in 1983. Ryabchenko died in Odessa on June 27, 1992.
