Biography:
Sigurd Skou was a Norwegian artist born in Fredrikshald, Norway in 1875. He studied under Anders Zorn in Stockholm and Christian Krolig in Paris. In the early 20th century, he immigrated to the United States where he settled in New York. Skou was known for his portrait, nude, still life, and seascape paintings. He passed away in Neuilly Sur Seine, France in 1929.
