Silvina Sícoli is an Argentine artist born in Buenos Aires in 1967. She graduated from the Fashion Design program at FADU/UBA, where she also worked as a teacher in the Design and Expressive Media departments. Silvina Sícoli has been involved in various artistic projects and exhibitions, including her work with Selvanegra gallery, which she co-founded with her sister Josefina Sícoli. The gallery focuses on promoting contemporary Argentine art, particularly by young and mid-career artists. It is located in the microcenter of Buenos Aires and hosts five exhibitions annually, along with a summer residency program. Silvina's artistic style often explores themes related to nature, emotions, and perception, using techniques that blend painting and textiles.
