Biography:

Simeon Simeonov was born in 1826 in Tryavna, Bulgaria. He was a representative of the family of the Vitans and was involved in icon painting and woodcarving. He was a part of the Tryavna Iconographic School, which was the oldest Revival iconography school in Bulgaria. Simeonov died in 1879.
