Biography:
Sofia Bisi Albini was a Milanese writer and journalist, close to the feminist movement and very active in the social and pedagogical field. She was the wife of the sculptor Emilio Bisi. She collaborated with various newspapers and magazines, founded and directed the Rivista per le signorine, and dedicated herself to the innovation of female education in Italy. She was also involved in the suffragist movement and participated in the Women at the Hague Conference of 1915 and the Inter-Allied Women's Conference of 1919. She died in Rapallo in 1919.
