Biography:

Stanisław Klejnas was a Polish folk musician and gawędziarz. He was born into a family of musicians and shepherds, and began playing the violin as a child. He became a professional musician and traveled extensively throughout Poland and abroad, performing at festivals and competitions. He was known for his extensive repertoire and his ability to play with great skill and passion. Klejnas was also a skilled storyteller and gawędziarz, and was often called upon to perform at social gatherings and events. He was awarded the Kolberg Prize in 1977 for his contributions to Polish folk music.
