Biography:

Steve Hawley is a British artist who has been working in video art and film since the 1980s. Hawley's work, characterized by 'a preoccupation with language and image', has been shown at video festivals and broadcast worldwide. He was Professor of Art and Media at the Manchester School of Art until 2017, when he became Professor Emeritus.
