Steve Baker, also known as Steven John Baker, was born on June 6, 1971, in St Austell, England. He is a British Conservative Party politician and former Royal Air Force engineer, consultant and bank worker. He has been the Member of Parliament for Wycombe since 2010. In June 2015, he became coprésident of Conservative for Britain, an organization composed of eurosceptic MPs and activists. He cofounds the Cobden Centre and sits on its advisory board. He was Minister of State at the Northern Ireland Office from 7 September 2022 to 5 July 2024. He is known for his role in the Brexit campaign and his eurosceptic stance. He is also a former aerospace and software engineer with 30 years of experience.
