Biography:
Guntis Strupulis was a Latvian artist. He was born on September 24, 1933 in Madona, Latvia. Son of Artūrs Strupulis and Anna (Burdajs) Strupulis. He was a husband of Zenta Strupule and father of Bils Strupulis. He died on June 15, 1974 in Jelgava, Latvia. He was known for his works in Surrealism, Symbolism, and Socialist Realism styles. He participated in exhibitions in Latvia and his works are in the collections of the Latvian National Museum of Art and the Jelgava History and Art Museum.
