Biography:

Sue Jarvis is an Australian artist born and raised in the industrial and now multicultural city of Greater Dandenong in Melbourne's south east. She was a major prizewinner at the Dandenong Festival of Music and Art for Youth, and went on to become an Art Teacher and Artist. Sue has been a full-time artist since 1981 and is proud to have two pieces of her work displayed in the Melbourne State Library. She is a founding member of SECAN- South Eastern Contemporary Art Network and Cardinia Art Society (CART), and a member of the Melbourne Society of Women's Painters & Sculptors, and was winner of their major award, the Annie Davison Oliver Award in 2019. Sue's artworks are often inspired by contemporary events and life, and she has exhibited her work in numerous key galleries and museums such as Bendigo Art Gallery.
