Biography:
Sugiura Yasuyoshi is a Japanese artist born in Tokyo, Japan in 1949. He is known for his large stone form installations and his work with the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. He has exhibited his work in various locations, including the Echigo-Tsumari Art Field and the Fubon Art Foundation in Taipei, Taiwan. His work often challenges visitors to re-examine their perceptions of conventional and ubiquitous shapes and materials.
