Sumakshi Singh is an Indian artist born in 1980 in Lucknow, India. She is known for her immersive installations, drawings, and paintings that explore the boundaries between reality and illusion, memory and imagination, and the physical and metaphysical worlds. Singh's work often incorporates elements of fantasy, mythology, and spirituality, and invites viewers to enter a dreamlike state and question their perceptions of reality. Singh has exhibited her work internationally, including at the Kochi-Muziris Biennale, the Vancouver Biennale, and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago. She currently lives and works in New Delhi, India.
