Biography:

Susan Fenton is an Associate Professor and the Associate Dean for Academic and Curricular Affairs at the University of Texas School of Biomedical Informatics in Houston, TX. She is responsible for their graduate certificates, master’s and doctoral programs. She is also a photographer and artist. She received her PhD in 1996 from the University of Texas at Austin. She is a member of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and is a Fellow of AHIMA (FAHIMA). She is also a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) and a Certified Professional in Health Information Management (CPHI). She has published numerous articles and book chapters in the field of health informatics and has presented at national and international conferences. She is also an artist and her work has been exhibited in galleries and museums. She is also known as Suzanne E Fenton.
