Biography:

Tamie Hashida is a japanese artist born in Yachiyo, Chiba, Japan in 2010. She is known for her quilts, such as 'Gold - Wedding' (2010). She has received several awards for her work, including Second Place in the Appliqué category at Houston 2022 for 'Blue Flower', Best Hand Workmanship Award at AQS Paducah 2017 for 'Gold-Wedding', and Janome America Best of Show at AQS QuiltWeek – Spring Paducah, KY Award Winners in 2017 for 'EWE ARE MY SUNSHINE'. Her work has been exhibited in several museums, including the National Quilt Museum in the United States.
