Taryn Simon is an American multidisciplinary artist who works in photography, text, sculpture, and performance. She was born on February 4, 1975, in New York City, where she currently resides and maintains a studio practice. Simon has had work featured in the Venice Biennale (2015) and was selected as a Guggenheim Fellow in 2001.
