Teodoro Torres Orea is a Mexican artist and master of popular art and tradition. He was born in Mexico City in 1933 and is recognized in Mexico and internationally as one of the great masters of popular art. He is known for his work in metal, paint, and plaster, and has been awarded the National Prize for Arts and Sciences in Mexico. He often works with his wife, Susana Navarro Alamilla.
