Teresa Ruiz de Espejo was a Cuban woman who inspired the name of a ship. She was the wife of Rafael Masó i Pascual, a wealthy shipowner from Sitges, Spain. The ship 'Nueva Teresa Cubana' was built in 1847 and named after her.
