Biography:

Mundano, also known as Thiago Mundano, is a Brazilian street artist born in São Paulo in 1986. He began doing street art in the early 2000s and gained recognition for painting graffiti on the legislative assembly plaque in Ibirapuera Park, São Paulo, in 2007. Mundano is known for his political graffiti and activism, particularly through his Pimp My Carroca movement, which aims to improve the working conditions of Brazilian trash collectors. He has also created murals in São Paulo, including 'Workers of Brumadinho' and 'The Forest Brigade', the latter made using ash from fires in the Amazon rain forest. Mundano's work often addresses social and environmental issues in Brazil and beyond.
