Biography:

Tom Ford is an American fashion designer and filmmaker. He was born in Houston, Texas, in 1961. Ford launched his eponymous brand in 2005, after serving as the creative director at Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent. He has also written and directed two films, A Single Man (2009) and Nocturnal Animals (2016). From 2019 to 2022, Ford served as chairman of the Council of Fashion Designers of America. Ford studied at Bard College at Simon's Rock and The New School, where he earned a degree in architecture.
