Thomas Houseago is a British contemporary artist born in 1972 in Leeds, England. He currently lives in Los Angeles, California and has American citizenship. Houseago is known for his figurative sculptures, often on a large scale, in materials such as plaster, bronze, and aluminum. His work has been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions, including the Whitney Biennial in 2010. In addition to sculpture, Houseago has also created architectural installations. He is represented by Xavier Hufkens Gallery, Gagosian Gallery, and Hauser & Wirth.
