Biography:
Tom Reaume was a Canadian wildlife biologist, professor, self-taught botanist, abstract artist, and photographer. He was born in Windsor, Ontario in 1944 and passed away in London, Ontario on August 30, 2021. Reaume was known for his work in abstract photography and pure abstract photography, creating images with a camera yet devoid of objectification. He also wrote and illustrated a book on the natural history of the bird known as the American Crow. Reaume's work has been exhibited in collections in five countries and has received grants totaling $290,000.00. He worked closely with Nature Manitoba and was a very talented artist and botanist.
