Thuraya Al-Baqsami is a Kuwaiti artist, writer, and internationally acclaimed printmaker. She was born in Kuwait City in 1952 and comes from a large family of creators. She is the mother of Fatima Al Qadiri and Monira Al Qadiri, who are also artists. Thuraya Al-Baqsami is known for her work as a printmaker and has had her work exhibited internationally. She has also written several books. Thuraya Al-Baqsami continues to create and exhibit her work today.
