Timothy Benson is a British artist born in London in 1975. He is known for his portraits and figurative paintings, often depicting people in everyday situations. Benson studied at the Heatherley School of Fine Art in London and has since exhibited his work in numerous galleries across the UK. He has received several awards for his paintings, including the prestigious BP Portrait Award in 2005. Benson's work has been acquired by various public and private collections, including the National Portrait Gallery in London. He is a member of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters and continues to paint and exhibit his work.
