Biography:
Tuksina Pipitkul is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Fine and Applied Art, Bangkok University. She has participated in numerous group shows, including 'Finding Abstraction' at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC) in 2014, which was derived from her case study on modern Thai abstract sculptural art. Her work often explores themes of fragility and monumentality, as seen in her participation in 'Monologue Dialogue 3 (MD3)' exhibition. Pipitkul has also held residencies, such as the Transcultural Art Network residency at the Slade School of Fine Art, University College London. She is known for her sculptures, including a large white sculpture titled 'Respond', and has experimented with interactive art and video.
