Ming-Chin TUNG, also known as Tung Ming-Chin, is a Taiwanese artist born in 1980 in Changhua, Taiwan. He specializes in sculpture, carving wood into figurative shapes that seem to press against the surface. His work has been exhibited in galleries and museums, and he has received his MFA from the Department of Plastic Arts at Taipei National University of the Arts in 2009. Tung Ming-Chin's sculptures are known for their smooth polished surfaces and the way they transform as the viewer moves around them, revealing surprises.
