Biography:

Uli Richter was a German fashion designer born in Potsdam in 1926. He began his career as a textile buyer and later became a designer. In 1952, he joined S & E Modelle as a chief designer and became a partner in 1957. He opened his own fashion house in 1959 and became one of the most important fashion designers in Germany. Richter was known for his elegant and timeless designs, and his clients included famous actresses, politicians, and members of European royal families. He died in Berlin in 2021.
