Biography:
Ulrika Berge is a Swedish artist born in Sweden. She is known for her lively sculptures made with threads, including her famous 'Stareyed Flowers' series. Berge studied at the Konsthögskolan in Bergen from 1993 to 1998 and was a project student at the Kungliga Konsthögskolan from 2011 to 2013. Her work has been exhibited in various institutions, such as SKF/Konstnärshuset and Google Arts & Culture. In addition to her sculptures, Berge has also sold artworks to municipalities and counties in Sweden for official buildings and has published a book about her work. She is also an author, having written the novel 'KAMELEN' and running the publishing house Flugans Förlag.
