Biography:
Ursula von Rydingsvard is a sculptor who lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. She is best known for creating large-scale works influenced by nature, primarily using cedar and other forms of timber. Her artworks are presented in many museums and galleries around the world, including the Yorkshire Sculpture Park in England. She was married to Paul Greengard, an American neuroscientist who was awarded the Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine in 2000.
