Biography:

Vera Isler-Leiner, also known as Vera Sulamith Leiner, was born in 1931 in Berlin, Germany. She was a German-Swiss photo artist and object-maker. Her parents were murdered in Belzec in 1942. She spent her childhood in Switzerland, where she attended school and gymnasium in Teufen. In 1950s, she worked scientifically in the Swiss National Fund and began acting, filming, TV moderating and photographing. She died in Basel, Switzerland in 2015.
