Biography:

Vid Ponikvar is a Slovenian photographer born on June 18, 1976, in Bled, Slovenia. He attended Gimnazija Kranj high school and later studied at the University of Ljubljana's medical faculty. In his high school years, he founded and served as editor-in-chief for a student magazine called 'Kranjski študent'. Ponikvar is known for his work with Sportida Photo Agency, where he captures sports events and portraits of athletes. He has also photographed various cultural events in Slovenia. In addition to photography, Vid Ponikvar is a medical doctor specializing in pediatrics.
