Biography:
Vladimir Zagorov is a Russian artist born in Krasnodar in 1951. He studied at the Department of the Ministry of Finance from 1966 to 1970, and became part of the Ministry of Trade and Agriculture in 1970. He published his first annual statistical report, 'Statistical Yearbook of the Kingdom of Bulgaria', in 1910. Zagorov is known for his abstract and figurative painting, art-objects, drawings, book design, and monumental-applied art. He has exhibited his work in various galleries, including Graham's Gallery and the Van Abbemuseum. In 2023, he won the special prize of the Sergey Kuryokhin Award. Zagorov is currently a senior lecturer at SPbU.
