Vladlen Vasilevich Gavrilchik was born in 1929 in the city of Termez, Uzbekistan. He was inspired towards drawing from the beginning of his school days. Gavrilchik was a Soviet nonconformist artist, also known as Soviet counterculture or underground art. He was a Russian Postwar & Contemporary painter. Gavrilchik passed away in 2017.
