In 1942, he participated in several group exhibitions and had a solo exhibition at the Vytautas Magnus Museum of Culture in 1943.
Kasiulis's early career was marked by his participation in various group exhibitions, including the Salon Des Indépendants. He also had solo exhibitions in Kiel, Bad Siegelberg, Hamburg, and Fribourg. In 1948, he arrived in Paris and had his first exhibition at Raymond Duncan's gallery in 1949.
Kasiulis's artistic style was characterized by a focus on expressionism, which emphasized the subjective emotional experience. His paintings often featured bold brushstrokes and vibrant colors, creating a sense of intensity and emotional depth. He was influenced by the works of other Expressionist artists, such as Edvard Munch and Vincent van Gogh.
Kasiulis's work was influenced by the Early Renaissance art movement, which emphasized humanism, realism, and perspective. He was also influenced by the works of other artists, such as Giovanni Bellini and Carlo Crivelli. Kasiulis's legacy can be seen in the works of other Lithuanian artists, who have been inspired by his expressionist style.
Kasiulis continued to work as an artist until his death in 1995.
