Walter Oltmann is a South African artist born in 1960 in Rustenburg. He is known for his sculptures, often made of woven wire forms. Oltmann obtained a BA Fine Arts degree from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg. He currently lives and works in Johannesburg.
