Donna Ong is a Singaporean artist, born on July 30, 1978, in Singapore. She is known for her installation works, which often feature environments created with assemblages, found objects, and sculpture. Ong's practice draws upon notions of botany, landscaping, and representations of nature in both European and Chinese art. She has exhibited locally and internationally, including at the Singapore Biennale, the Venice Biennale, and the Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art. Ong's notable works include 'Letters From The Forest II', which features a wooden chair as its medium.
