Wang Mingming is a Chinese artist born in 1952 in Beijing, China. He has succeeded in combining the spacious and imaginary brushstrokes of the ancient scholar paintings with the feelings and thoughts of modern life. Inspired by the profound traditional culture of China, Wang started exploring ancient Chinese painting themes, gradually entering the realm of traditional Chinese painting. He is known for his poetic touches in traditional ink wash paintings and has been creating paintings inspired by ancient Chinese poetry for more than four decades.
