Wen Jia, also known as Wen Chia, was a renowned Chinese painter of landscapes and flowers during the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644). Born in the Jiangsu province around 1501, Wen came from a family of painters. His style name was 'Xiu Cheng' and his sobriquet was Wen Shui. As the second son of Wen Zhengming, Wen Jia's artistic talent was evident from an early age.
