Wihelm y Paul Mauser were two German brothers who were weapon designers and manufacturers. They were born in Oberndorf am Neckar, Germany, in 1834 and 1838 respectively. They founded the company Gebr. Mauser, which became one of the most successful arms manufacturers in the world. The Mauser brothers developed many famous firearms, including the Mauser Model 1871, the Mauser Model 1898, and the Mauser C96 pistol. Paul Mauser was also a member of the German parliament. Wilhelm Mauser died in 1882, while Paul Mauser died in 1914.
