William E. Winner

Biography:

Well known in the mid 19th century for landscape, genre and portrait painting, William Winner was born in Philadelphia and remained there for most of his career except for a brief time in Charleston, South Carolina. He does not appear in the student records of the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.
