Blass was a style innovator whose work left an indelible mark on the fashion world. He was known for his sharp tailoring, accessories, perfume, and a multitude of branded product lines. Blass was the recipient of many fashion awards, including seven Coty Awards and the Fashion Institute of Technology's Lifetime Achievement Award (1999).
