Biography:

Woonmi, Min Yeongik was a calligrapher and painter from Korea, born in Yeongheung in 1860. He was the son of a pupil of the calligrapher Kim Jeong Hee. Woonmi was known for his skill in painting orchids and bamboo, as well as his calligraphy. He painted this artwork during his exile in Shanghai in 1914. Woonmi died in 1914.
