Biography:
Ján Zoričák, also known as Yan Zoritchak, is a Slovak glass artist and sculptor born in Ždiar, Slovakia in 1944. He studied at the Secondary Vocational School of Glass at Železný Brod in the Czech Republic from 1959 to 1963 and at the Academy of Applied Arts in Prague from 1963 to 1969. He has been living in Talloires, France since 1970 and is known for his unique style and technique in glass sculpting. He has exhibited his work in numerous galleries and museums around the world and has received several awards for his contributions to the art of glass sculpting.
