Biography:

Yang Jung-uk is a South Korean artist born in Seoul in 1982. He is known for his enormous, subtle, mechanical, narrative, cryptic, structural and lyrical art. His sculpted materials, kinetic sculptures, and installation art draw out the void within ordinary people by reflecting universal human experiences. Yang Jung-uk has gained renown in the art scene for his lyrical and synaesthetic works featuring sound, light, and movement. He has exhibited in numerous galleries and museums, including Gallery Hyundai, Baik Art Gallery, and 18th Street Arts Center. Yang Jung-uk holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Science and Technology of China.
