Biography:

Yavuz Ekrem Arslan was born in Manisa, Turkey in 1965. He is a Commander of the First Infantry Training Brigade in Manisa. He was promoted to Brigadier General with the Supreme Military Council in 2017. He is also a researcher with interests in macro-finance, monetary economics, housing and mortgage markets, financial stability and asset pricing. He is currently a lecturer at the University of Liverpool Management School.
