Biography:
Ying Yeping (1910 - 1990) hailed from Ninghai, Zhejiang Province. He was taught at home and started specializing in nature painting when he was 16. In 1949, he established himself as a professional painter and became a member of the Chinese Artists Association. He was also a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association. Ying Yeping was known for his ink and color paintings of landscapes, flowers, and birds. He was also skilled in calligraphy and seal carving. His works are highly regarded for their elegant style and delicate brushwork. Ying Yeping's paintings have been exhibited in China and abroad, and he has won numerous awards for his artistic achievements. His works are held in many public and private collections, including the National Art Museum of China, the Shanghai Art Museum, and the British Museum.
